This role is an initial 12-month fixed-term appointment working 4 days per week. The position will be based in the Warragul office (3 days) with 1 day of remote work from home.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing accessible, timely, and relevant information to farmers to increase knowledge and skills, supporting business decision-making.
* Developing local content engaging farmers and driving awareness of services, people, and resources.
* Leading communications and content plans ensuring alignment with priorities and national farmer communications strategy.
* Sourcing, writing, editing, and managing communication materials to support organizational activities.
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in writing and editing copy for various media, tailoring writing style for different audiences, and proactively sourcing relevant information.
The successful candidate will also have excellent organizational, project, and time management skills, as well as experience working with diverse stakeholders.
