We have 3 locations in Southwest Sydney, Wollongong & Canberra.
We provide new & used sales for commercial vehicles and construction equipment, along with service, spare parts and finance for a wide range of clients in transport, warehousing, construction, infrastructure, civil works, waste management and government bodies.
STM Trucks & Machinery (Daimler Trucks South Coast) is now the authorised dealer for Mercedes-Benz & Freightliner Trucks, and an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician / Diesel Mechanic to join our growing Unanderra branch.
The position is on a full-time basis with a competitive remuneration package.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
Trade Certificates for Heavy Diesel Automotive (or equivalent)
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Ability to work within a team workplace
Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions
Accurately complete job service reports & paperwork
Commitment to secure work practices
Commitment to long term employment and its opportunities
Completion OEM technical training programs
Excellent time management skills
Current NSW driver's licence
Solid work ethics, punctuality and reliability
Ability to maintain a 100% work efficiency
Ability to work on a range of light, medium & heavy vehicle
Ability to work offsite if and when required
Ability to work overtime & Saturdays, as required
Own tools (specialised tooling provided)
