THE OPPORTUNITYDue to increased demand, Matrix Steel is looking to appoint a full-time Truck Driver to join our Bundaberg Operations team.
This role will primarily focus on delivering goods to our customers around Bundaberg and surrounding Sunshine Coast region.
This position requires a hands-on person who is willing to operate our manufacturing machinery when delivery days are quiet.
This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, 5AM TO 1PM.
RESPONSIBILITIESReview vehicle load sheetsSecure load, prepare manifest and assist loading when requiredDeliver to customers and place onsite as requiredCapture pictures of items delivered for PODMaintain vehicle and driver logsLiaise with despatch and customers on delivery issues and delaysKeep a clean truck at all times and ensure maintenance is up to dateOperate machinery as required Strict adherence to our critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environmentABOUT YOUESSENTIAL - HR LicenseESSENTIAL - Forklift TicketDESIRABLE - Hiab Crane experience.Willingness to work local and regional runsFlexibility and willingness to operate machinery - we will train you
