About the Role
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing community based occupational therapy interventions for a wide range of client groups including those receiving :
Home Care Package Funding
National Disability Insurance Services (NDIS)
Services include, but are not limited to :
* Home-based assessments focusing on daily living, mobility, and home safety.
* Client assessment, intervention planning, and report writing.
* Equipment applications for government programs.
* Recommending and designing minor & major home modifications.
* Clearly communicating assessed needs to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience :
* Relevant degree with a minimum of 1 year of experience.
* Registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA (or ability to maintain registration).
* Ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearances.
Key Skills for Success :
* Strong assessment and intervention planning skills.
* Excellent report writing and communication abilities.
* Ability to collaborate professionally with internal & external stakeholders.
