Find out more and .**Your Opportunity**As a Welcome Home Housing Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of an innovative housing initiative focused on early intervention, relational care, and tenant success. This role will deliver tenancy management and holistic support coordination to our new tenants using trauma-informed and person-led approach.**Your key responsibilities will be to:*** Build meaningful relationships with tenants during their critical first six months* Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to provide wraparound support* Conduct tenancy sign ups and property inspections with a supportive approach* Delivery tenancy education and connect tenants with support services* Monitor rent and provide early intervention to prevent arrears* Encourage tenant participation in community programs* Prepare reports on tenancy outcomes, arrears and program performances* Handle feedbacks and complaints with a focus on empowerment and improvement**Requirements for Success*** Certificate IV in social housing or community services desirable* Experience in community or social housing or similar sector desirable* Strong understanding of challenges faced by the vulnerable communities* Exceptional relationship building and communication skills* Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment* Strong conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills* Highly organised and attention to detail* Trauma-informed, compassionate and person-centred approach* Valid driver's license and WWCCBefore starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, referee checks, and WWCC.**Your benefits*** Rewarding work – every day you know you're making a real difference* Not-for-profit salary packaging, reducing your tax (details via* Free external, confidential counselling and access to* Volunteering opportunities* Extra leave available including an additional public holiday, additional annual leave day on your work anniversary and the opportunity to purchase further annual leave**Our culture**Our innovative and inclusive culture will ensure you feel valued at Mission Australia as you help Australians in need and develop in your career.
