The Opportunity This is a hands-on role where you'll be the primary HR contact for the plant, working closely with leadership to deliver HR strategies that drive engagement, compliance, and performance. From recruitment and onboarding to employee development, industrial relations, and payroll, you'll play a key role in creating a positive, empowering workplace.
What You'll Do
* Deliver HR strategy and policy implementation at site level.
* Manage employee relations and union interactions.
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and workforce development programs.
* Support training plans, particularly for blue-collar employees.
* Drive engagement initiatives and workplace culture activities.
* Collaborate with payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Maintain HR systems and provide support during audits.
What We're Looking For
* Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
* Proven HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
* Knowledge of staffing, development, compliance, and labour law.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency with MS Office (SAP knowledge a plus).
