We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Food Technologist with Food Product Development experience.
Reporting to the New Product Development (NPD) Manager, you will be hands-on in this busy role with responsibility for new product development projects.
Key accountabilities will include:
* Align cross functionally among departments to deliver optimum strategy for the customer and drive NPD to market
* NPD Projects from concept through to commercialisation, using your product development experience
* Technical specification design and development
* Customer engagement and ownership for product development within the team
* Contributing to and working on global innovation and consumer trends
* Interstate and overseas travel may be required as part of your role
Key Attributes will be:
* Bachelor of Science (Food Science and Technology) or similar
* Strong technical knowledge of food development with 5 + years' experience
* Candidates must hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency
* High energy, high creativity but ability to work through the basics
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A commitment to provide the highest quality product to strict customer specifications
* A positive 'can do' attitude with strong time management and organisational skills
* Highly developed problem solving and analytical skills, initiative and resourcefulness
* Creative flair in relation to innovative ideas
