The role
Overview
Lead and execute the planning, implementation and evaluation of finance programmes, projects and services for the Integrated Care Systems Directorate.
Provide expert financial advice to ICS Directors and Program Managers on budget planning, oversight, forecasting and operational financial implications.
Lead financial planning, modelling, performance analysis and forecasting for a large, complex portfolio of commissioned health programmes to inform executive decision‑making, program sustainability and system reform initiatives, ensuring strong financial governance.
Responsibilities
The Principal Finance Officer will lead financial planning, modelling, performance analysis and forecasting for a large and complex portfolio of commissioned health programmes.
The role delivers a partnering approach in providing expert financial advice to IC directors and programme managers, ensuring the financial implications of operational decisions are clearly understood.
Ensures strong financial governance for programme sustainability and system reform initiatives.
Qualifications
A tertiary qualification in accounting, economics or a related financial/business management field is required.

Appointment Conditions
