You will maintain the State's capacity to identify and respond to communicable diseases and other health threats. Queensland Health is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified medical professionals who have: Experience in navigating highly sensitive issues within government, focused on achieving effective policy outcomes. Demonstrated stakeholder relationships or the ability to forge credible relationships across government, private, and non-government sectors. The ability to communicate complex medical information to the broader public in a manner that instills public confidence and understanding. The Successful Person: The successful candidate will possess highly developed negotiation skills, political astuteness, and intellectual flexibility, enabling them to navigate complex challenges with ease.

You will be an assertive and confident decision-maker, ready to take on high-stakes decisions and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders to influence strategic leadership.
