The Cell Therapy Laboratory within the Department of Haematology & Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) at Townsville University Hospital delivers advanced cellular therapy services supporting the Townsville Cancer Centre's BMT program. This specialised unit ensures compliance with clinical and regulatory standards while driving innovation in stem cell and cellular therapy practices.

Competitive salary and benefits
Salary between $******* – $******* per fortnight (HP5).

About your opportunity
As Supervising Scientist, you will lead the Cell Therapy Laboratory, providing specialist clinical leadership and driving service innovation. You will set strategic direction, ensure compliance with accreditation standards, and contribute to research and service development initiatives within the Townsville Cancer Centre.
Requirements
Relevant degree in science or equivalent; Medical Laboratory Science preferred.
Demonstrated advanced experience in a cellular therapy laboratory.
Commitment to quality standards and compliance with accreditation requirements.
Evidence of vaccinations for VPDs as per Queensland Health policy.
A probationary period may apply.
