We're working with one of Australia's leading national accounting firms who are looking to bring an ambitious Intermediate Accountant into their growing team. This is an opportunity to step into a genuinely advisory focused role while still strengthening your technical compliance skills.
The Role
You'll be working closely with a broad portfolio of clients, acting as a trusted advisor and delivering high quality insights. Your responsibilities will include:
Acting as a primary point of contact for clients across a diverse portfolio
Building strong relationships and providing strategic guidance
Forecasting, budgeting and management reporting
Delivering strategic advisory solutions alongside senior leaders
Preparing financial statements and income tax returns
What we're looking for
2+ years' experience in public practice
Strong communicator with the ability to go deeper with clients and provide meaningful advice
CA/CPA commenced or ready to commence
Strong tax compliance foundations
Exposure to advisory work – or a genuine desire to grow in this space
Curious, proactive and interested in really understanding your clients
