Our client is a major corporate law firm. Their client base consists of local and international clients, ASX-listed companies, ultra net worth individuals & families, clients in a diverse range of industries including construction, financial services, property, aged-care, health, education, retail, renewable energy, media.
This firm has developed strong relationships with their clients and are known not only for technical excellence but pragmatic and commercial advice. They believe in providing a holistic approach for their clients. They are not just black letter lawyers.
The Role
Due to growth, our client is looking to recruit an experienced and talented corporate/M&A lawyer with, ideally around the 3 years to 10 years paid level.
The work will be both private and public M&A, capital markets and cross‑border transactions.
This role will see you working closely with the partner and their client base. You will have the appropriate level of responsibility for your level. This is a 'hands on' role where you will continue to grow and develop.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* around 3 years plus years corporate/M&A law experience gained from a reputable law firm or in‑house environment
* this role is open to foreign qualified lawyers and the firm is able to sponsor
* excellent writing skills
* strong communication and interpersonal skills
* commercial acumen
* be a team player
* enthusiasm and have a passion for corporate/M&A law
