Bunjum Jarjum Bugal nah Child and Family Centre are seeking 1 Experienced Early Childhood Teachersto be part of our Early Learning Centre in Ballina. The successful applicants will work for Jarjum Bugal Nah Child and Family Centre successfully established a well respected and trusted Long Day Care Centre we hold a rating Assessment of Exceeding National Quality Standards and have maintained this rating again recently.
Bunjum Jarjum Bugal Nah Child and Family Centre is an exceptional Early Learning Centre that caters for 59 children per day aged 6 weeks to 6 years old. We strive to provide a service to our children and families that is the best on the coast, and focus heavily on forming positive relationships with children, families and the community. We run a Culturally Appropriate program which focuses on Local Aboriginal Culture on a daily basis.
The Position
These positions is flexible Full time 38 hours per week and/or Part Time hours per week.
The Fulltime position could possibly include the Educational Leader role.
Paid well above award wages.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who:
Has a recognised Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care, Is reliable and punctual, Is passionate about and dedicated to the Early Childhood Education and Care of children, Is approachable, friendly and confident, Demonstrates initiative, Has a full understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and willing to learn the Aboriginal 8 Ways of Learning.
Current Working With Children Check
Current First Aid
Current Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Certificate

Completed a minimum qualification Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood (or equivalent as recognised by ACECQA)
NESA Accredited
Current Working with Children Check
First Aid Certificate
Current CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma Certificate
2 referees that have supervised you in the workplace that can be contacted to verify your skills and employment
