We currently require a permanent, full-time Placemaking Officer to work in the Planning and Place team, starting immediately. The role involves providing high-level project management and administrative support. The team is one part of the Growth and Economic Development Program Area.

Typical duties:
Working at the Civic Centre, the position will undertake duties such as, but not limited to:
· Delivering place and liveability projects, under the Movement Strategy and Place and Liveability Plan.
· Preparing project briefs, tenders and funding applications with proactive support.
· Managing events and projects: bookings, branding, workshops, invoices and logistics coordination.
· Conducting community consultation and respond to feedback with relevant project information.
· Creating digital content for place and liveability initiatives, for marketing, engagement and communications.
· Drafting reports, correspondence, policies, and research with precision and continuous improvement focus.

Your hard work will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package and generous leave entitlements. This position has a commencing base salary of $81,784.36 per annum plus superannuation 12% (For employees under EA) As a permanent employee you also get access to our wellbeing program, employee assistance counselling program and receive 17.5% additional pay when on annual leave.
