Position Profile
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic person to join our Disaster Preparedness and Management Directorate (DPMD) as a Training Manager.
Responsibilities
* Lead a whole-of-system diagnostic assessment of emergency management training across WA Health, examining current capability, gaps, duplication, and alignment with State and national emergency management arrangements.
* Review DPMD's existing training programs, delivery models, ways of working, resource allocation, governance structures, systems, and quality assurance mechanisms.
* Conduct detailed analysis of workforce requirements, training demand profiles, and projected future needs to determine the optimal FTE establishment for a sustainable training function.
* Engage, consult, and collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to gather insights, validate findings, and ensure recommendations are realistic and operationally sound.
