Senior Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
The role of Senior Obstetrician and Gynaecologist involves providing high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care to patients in a dynamic environment. As a senior member of the multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to provide evidence-based clinical care and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include conducting clinical examinations, identifying clinical problems and health opportunities, and developing plans for overall clinical care and health promotion. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior staff members and contributing to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will require a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences. A Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or Rural Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP + FARGP) with Advanced Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (Advanced DRANZCOG) is highly desirable.
