We're looking for an experienced EL1 Change Manager to help deliver a major program that will simplify and harmonise complex legislation. This is a hands-on role leading change across policy, systems, and people.
Key responsibilities:
* Apply a structured change framework and ensure readiness across the organisation
* Coordinate change across policy, ICT, training, legal and communications streams
* Identify and manage risks, define success measures, and track adoption
* Support clear communication and training to build engagement and understanding
About you:
* Proven experience delivering large-scale policy or legislative change
* Skilled in recognised change methodologies (Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter, etc.)
* Strong stakeholder management and ability to balance competing priorities
* Critical thinking, resilience, and the ability to work under pressure
* Eligible for Baseline security clearance (sponsorship provided if required)
Contract details:
* Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
* Contract to 30 June 2026, with possible 6-month extension
* $80-$90 per hour + super (EL1 equivalent)
* Flexible work options available; some interstate travel may be required
