About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House Officer to join our casual team.
This role plays a critical part in delivering a safe, welcoming and professional experience for patrons, volunteers, performers and hirers during performances and events.
As a Front of House Officer, you will be a key representative of ManPAC, contributing to the smooth operation of events through strong customer service, effective supervision and adherence to safety and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality customer service to patrons, artists and venue hirers
Supervise volunteers during performances and events
Coordinate front of house operations, including foyer management and audience movement
Monitor venue safety, security and compliance during events
Enforce house policies and relevant safety regulations
Liaise with technical and operational staff to support seamless event delivery
Respond calmly and professionally to patron enquiries and operational issues
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Proven customer service experience in a public-facing or fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
A collaborative and team-focused approach
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
An interest in the performing arts and community engagement
Sound computer literacy and confidence using workplace systems
A current Working With Children Check and First Aid Certificate, or a willingness to obtain these prior to commencement
