Where there's life, there's Mercy. Where there's care, there's you. Through the battles and breakthroughs, we're there. For over a century, our teams provide care when people need it most. Mercy Health offers opportunity to grow impact and gain experience hard to find elsewhere.
About the opportunity
Our Hospital in the Home (HITH) service is expanding. We seek an experienced, dynamic Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to lead our Neonatal and Paediatric HITH stream. The ANUM collaborates with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to provide high‐quality, efficient clinical service delivery and mentor the nursing team. In the absence of the NUM, the ANUM manages professional and operational resources of the unit.
What you'll bring
* Extensive (5+ years) recent experience in an acute hospital, with relevant community experience across broad paediatric and neonatal services.
* Demonstrated nurse leadership, including coaching, supporting staff, and leading projects to improve service delivery.
* Highly effective clinical skills in specialty area, strong time‐management, interpersonal, problem‐solving and negotiation skills.
You must provide evidence of, or be in the process of obtaining:
* Current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
* Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
