The Role
Mimco has an opportunity for an experienced VM Production Coordinator to manage and support the production and administration requirements for the Mimco Visual Merchandising team. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing the print production and instore digital content requirements for VM, supporting the design and production of seasonal props, and overseeing the VM timelines & delivery deadlines. Please note this is a 12 month fixed term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure instore graphics, talking cards, and promotional collateral is delivered on time, within budget
- Support the National VM Manager & VM Production Manager with end to end project support
- Liaise and brief all suppliers on specifications including fabrications, measurements, quantity, delivery date and despatch requirements
- Manage production and digital requirements to deadlines
- Management of prop suite, including storage and distribution
- Create administrative documentation to support VM and instore teams with promotional and creative installations
- Continue to source new ideas, technology, references and props for seasonal promotions
- Continue to improve efficiencies in production
- Consider OHS implications for all installations of props and graphics
- Prior experience having worked in a Visual Merchandising, print production or creative position
- A sound knowledge of design, creative and pre-press production
- An ability to manage and build effective relationships with suppliers
- Excellent administration and organisational skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Experience in using Excel, Adobe suite, particularly InDesign & ability to use Sketch up program desirable.
- A good eye for colour matching and attention to detail
