Disability Support Workers – Port Macquarie
We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team and provide exceptional care within our Specialised Disability Accommodation (SDA) environment.
Requirements:
* Experience in disability support and trauma-informed support
* Preferable experience in nursing or supporting complex health needs
* Skills in wound care and experience with complex medical presentations
* Experience with personal care
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team delivering therapeutic supports
* Experience implementing allied health plans, including mealtime management and wound care plans
* Understanding of restrictive practices and behaviour support plans
* Experience delivering goal-focused supports with a strong capacity-building approach
