Responsibilities
Professor or Associate Professor (x2) – Teaching + Research. The two positions are full-time continuing appointments in the Faculty of Law, with responsibilities that include delivering high-quality teaching, conducting research and contributing to the scholarly and professional advancement of the law faculty. The specific academic level to which each position is appointed will depend upon demonstrated eligibility against the position descriptions and selection criteria. The salaries for these positions will be negotiated commensurate with skills, qualifications, and experience.
Qualifications
Two academics are sought with expertise and an international reputation, preferably in property law, criminal law, and/or corporate law, to be appointed to a teaching + research position at the level of Professor or Associate Professor A or B. Candidates should be inspirational legal educators with excellent academic records and a commitment to providing law students with an exceptional learning experience, and to contributing to the collegiality of the faculty.
Salary and Benefits
- Professor (Level E): $215,265.21 base salary per annum, plus 12% superannuation, increasing to 17.5% after two-year probation.
- Associate Professor A (Level D): $184,208.27 base salary per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
- Associate Professor B (Level D): $168,153.03 base salary per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
