We pride ourselves on being the go-to destination for both trades and backyard warriors, offering a wide range of quality landscape supplies and exceptional customer service.
About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Assistant to join our team at the Thornton Yard. If you are keen to learn all there is to know about landscape products this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve customers in-store and over the phone
- Provide friendly, skilled customer service
- Operate our computer-based point-of-sale system (training provided)
- Assist customers with product selection and basic advice
- Help schedule deliveries to ensure timely customer service
- Support the Store Manager with stock control and yard duties
About You
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Confident communicator with a professional phone manner
- Comfortable using computers and willing to learn new systems
- Knowledge of landscaping products or experience in a similar industry is an advantage (but not essential)
- Truck and/or forklift licence highly regarded
- School leavers keen to start a career in the landscaping industry are encouraged to apply
