About the role
VICTOR'S AT THE BOWLS CLUB is looking for a full-time Chef to join our dedicated team located within a club in Queanbeyan NSW. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents and contribute to the exceptional dining experience we offer to our customers. As a restaurant within a club, typical hours are lunch (Tuesday to Sunday) and dinner (Tuesday to Saturday) along with catering for events as required by the club.

What you'll be doing
● Planning menus, estimating food and labor costs, and ordering food supplies.
● Overseeing the quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentation.
● Collaborating with Managers, Dietitians, and kitchen and waiting staff on food preparation matters.
● Demonstrating techniques and guiding cooking methods.
● Preparing and cooking meals.
● Explaining and ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.
● May be responsible for selecting and training staff.
● May handle freezing and preserving food.
● Responsible for planning and organizing the preparation and cooking of food in a restaurant or catering establishment.
What we're looking for
● Relevant qualifications in culinary arts like Certificate IV in commercial cookery or kitchen management or a closely related field
● Demonstrable 3 years experience working as a Chef in a fast paced environment.
● Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
● Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
● Ability to work well within a team and under pressure
● Passionate about creating delicious, innovative dishes
● Adherence to procedures and recipes

Fulltime Permanent Role
Salary:- 75,000 - 85,000 AUD plus superannuation
