As a
**Trainer & Assessor - Community Services, Mental Health & Counselling **you will be in a key educational position to drive student satisfaction and learner progression within our company.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trainer/Assessor to join our team who can ideally delivery training and assessment across multiple areas within the health and community services industry. Areas include (but not limited to):
- Ageing
- Disability
- Community Services
- Mental Health
- Counselling
- Alcohol and Other Drugs
**Your Responsibilities include**
- Delivering structured and engaging training sessions to learners in an online setting
- Assessing learner competencies in both theory and practical assessments
- Providing guidance and support to learners throughout their studies
- Developing and updating training materials and resources
- Maintaining accurate records of learner progress and assessment outcomes
- Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards
- Collaborating with other trainers and assessors to continuously improve training quality
- Participation in assessment validation
- Some travel may be required to conduct workplace assessments
**Your Skills & Experience**
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trainer/Assessor to join our team who can delivery training and assessment for
- CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services
- CHC43315 Certificate IV in Mental Health
- CHC43215 Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs
- CHC51015 Diploma of Counselling
- Must hold a current TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE)
- Relevant professional industry experience (must be considered current according to industry standards)
- Good level of computer literacy
- Superior student and customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in competency-based training delivery & assessment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Continue to improve various learning materials and manage online learning webinars and workshops
- Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging and effective training sessions
