We are currently seeking a proactive Lamination Operator to join our afternoon shift (2:00pm to 10:00pm) team at Acacia Ridge. In this role, you will be responsible for operating laminator machines safely and efficiently to produce high-quality laminated films used across our packaging operations. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and ability to maintain consistent machine performance will be essential in delivering reliable and high-quality outcomes.
Shifts Available:
Shift: Afternoon: 2:00pm - 10:00pm: Monday - Friday
The successful candidate will be required to:
* Set up, operate, and monitor laminator machines to meet production and quality requirements
* Conduct routine checks on laminate quality, adhesion, and visual appearance
* Perform machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting to maintain optimal performance
* Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work area Ensure materials, adhesives, and substrates are prepared and used correctly
* Accurately record production data, machine settings, and quality checks
* Report issues promptly to supervisors or maintenance teams to minimise downtime
* Support continuous improvement initiatives related to efficiency, waste reduction, and quality
Skills and experience:
* Have experience in lamination or printing operations (preferred but not essential)
* Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Work well in a fast-paced team environment
* Are mechanically minded and confident working with production machinery
* Good communications and teamwork skills.
* Knowledge of safety procedures and quality control standards
Hourly rate will depend on skills and experience for the right individual.
This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Acacia Ridge Site.
