Arcadia Homes Qld is a Sunshine Coast–based residential builder specialising in customised home designs. Whilst we have standard house designs we don’t do cookie‑cutter builds — every home is tailored to the client, the site and the brief.
We’re looking for a motivated Residential Drafting Designer who wants to be part of a close‑knit team, work directly with clients and take real ownership of their work from concept through to construction.
This role would suit a passionate designer who knows their way around residential documentation and is keen to grow, learn, and be involved in the full process — not just sit behind a screen pumping out plans.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Producing detailed residential construction drawings using Revit
* Working closely with:
o clients
o estimators
o supervisors
o external consultants (engineers, certifiers, planners)
* Preparing documentation suitable for:
o building approval
o estate covenant approval
o construction issue
* Ensuring all designs comply with:
o NCC
o Liveable Housing Code
o QDC
o Dual Occupancy Codes
o Estate covenants
* Managing design changes and revisions as projects evolve
* Being involved in problem‑solving real‑world design and construction challenges
What We’re Looking For
* 3+ years’ experience using Revit in a residential drafting/design role
* Solid understanding of Queensland residential compliance, including:
o NCC
o Liveable Housing Code
o QDC
o Dual occupancy requirements
* Building Design Licence – an advantage, not essential
* Someone who:
o takes pride in their drawings
o wants to understand how things are actually built
o communicates well with others
o isn’t afraid to ask questions or offer solutions
* A team‑first attitude — we work closely together and back each other
