Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Kununurra, Broome and Halls Creek with remote offices in community, Job Pathways delivers the Remote Australia Employment Service across the Kimberley and a DWER Workforce Australia employment services contract for Broome. Additional services include Revive recycling initiatives, Wayfinder NDIS services and a Container Deposit Scheme. This diversity allows us to deliver specialised to clients as well as increasing employment opportunities throughout the regions.

Role Scope
The Chief Executive Officer works alongside the Board to shape and execute strategic and business plans that drive sustainable growth, meet contractual and compliance requirements and enhance client outcomes. The organisation’s leadership ethos balances rigorous accountability—through KPIs, financial stewardship, and compliance—with a commitment to staff development and a healthy, cohesive workplace culture.
The CEO is instrumental in fostering partnerships with government, industry, community and not-for-profits, while championing digital transformation and continuous improvement. In doing so, Job Pathways remains steadfast in its mission to strengthen remote communities and create meaningful employment pathways.
Candidate Profile
Essential Criteria
Demonstrated success as a CEO or senior executive leading multi-site human services strategic leadership and people management, including negotiation and conflict resolution.Strong financial acumen (budgeting, analysis, reporting, cost control).Track record of developing and executing strategies to solve complex organisational challenges.Excellent written and verbal communication; effective stakeholder and community engagement.Demonstrated success in tenders, grants and high-quality reporting to funders and Boards.Uncompromising integrity and confidentiality, including cultural and commercially sensitive partnering with a Board to shape strategy and resolve complex issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in Business/Management (MBA) or related field (postgraduate desirable).
Other Requirements
Current C Class driver’s license.Willingness to travel regularly by road and air (including light aircraft) with an estimated 7-10 nights away from home per month.
