Job Title: Training Manager
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to lead the operations of our Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
This is a key leadership role responsible for managing training delivery, compliance, curriculum development, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement across a national training footprint.
* Manage day-to-day operations ensuring compliance with ASQA and national training standards.
* Develop, deliver and review accredited courses including Certificate III and IV qualifications and emerging micro-credentials.
* Manage RTO scope of registration, quality systems, internal audits and continuous improvement processes.
* Deliver training in simulation and interactive technologies and support technical integration with ICT platforms.
* Oversee student engagement and communications ensuring a high-quality and supported learner experience.
* Build and maintain strategic relationships with industry, Defence, government agencies and education partners.
* Represent the organisation at stakeholder forums, industry events and regulatory engagements.
* Contribute to broader organisational training initiatives and ensure alignment with business goals.
Key Requirements:
* Extensive experience in the VET sector, including a deep understanding of ASQA compliance and RTO operations.
* TAE40122 (or TAE40116) Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
* Proven ability to manage training governance, instructional delivery.
* Experience in the simulation and training sector or Australian Defence Force environment highly regarded.
* A strong aptitude for technology and innovation, particularly digital learning tools and systems.
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills — able to work across defence, industry, academic and government sectors.
* Must be an Australian citizen and able to obtain/hold an Australian Defence security clearance and Working with Children Blue Card.
