Our Client:

ONCALL Group Australia, incorporating SACARE, is a national leader in delivering high-quality, person-centred disability and aged care services. They are driven by innovation, inclusion, and integrity - supporting people with disabilities to live full and independent lives.

They are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and oversee their national operations, drive strategic growth, and champion excellence in service delivery across multiple platforms including Supported Independent Living, In-Home Services, Aged Care, and Agency Staffing.

The Role:

Reporting to the CEO, working as part of the Senior Management Team and Governance Committee, key responsibilities include:

Operational Leadership

* Lead and oversee all operational functions across multiple services to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery aligned with NDIS, Aged Care, Compensable and regulatory standards.
* Design and implement scalable national service delivery models that enhance client outcomes and assist in executing integration of systems, processes, and people to improve efficiency.
* Collaborate with the General Manager of Digital and Technology to identify opportunities for automation to enhance business performance and client satisfaction.

Strategic Growth & Business Development

* Support and execute national growth strategies in partnership with the National Business Development Manager.
* Support tender and proposal processes, strategic partnerships, and diversification of revenue streams.

Workforce Management & People Leadership

* Lead high-performing teams to achieve KPIs and deliver on business plans.
* Contribute to workforce strategy to meet growth targets and ensure quality care delivery.
* Uphold employment regulations and promote employee wellbeing.

Quality, Compliance & Safeguards

* Oversee quality management systems ensuring compliance with NDIS and Aged Care standards, and all relevant legislation.
* Maintain audit readiness and successful accreditation outcomes.
* Oversee incident management, complaints handling, and restrictive practices processes with a focus on uncompromised safeguarding.

Government & Stakeholder Engagement

* Build and maintain relationships with government bodies, statutory authorities, and sector stakeholders.
* Represent the organisation in external forums and policy discussions and respond proactively to regulatory changes, government priorities and funding environments.

Leadership & Culture

* Provide influential leadership to a national, multidisciplinary team and develop senior management capability across service delivery disciplines.
* Foster an accountable, transparent, inclusive, continuous improvement and client-focused culture.

Financial Oversight & Risk Management

* Partner with the CFO and executive team to manage budgets, financial performance, and operational risk.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and quality standards.
* Interpret legislation, policy, compliance and contracts to support strategic decision-making.

About You:

* Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, management, health, or social sciences. Legal or financial qualifications are highly regarded.
* Proven executive leadership experience within in a complex, multidisciplinary, disability, healthcare, or community services organisation.
* Knowledge and experience in Aged Care Standard or NDIS and statutory compliance.
* Strong commercial and operational acumen with a deep understanding of financial and workforce drivers.
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, especially with government and regulatory authorities and funding partners.
* Demonstrated success in strategic growth and business development at a national level.
