Alstom is a global leader in the transport sector, providing innovative and sustainable solutions for rail networks worldwide. As part of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the NGR fleet at our facility in Wulkuraka.
The role requires collaboration with various departments, including Engineering, Operations, Planning, QA, and Project teams to support the fleet. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Executing maintenance optimisation plans to ensure the smooth operation of the fleet.
* Supporting and implementing annual engineering and business strategies to drive growth and efficiency.
* Developing systems for recording, analysing, reporting, and investigating performance data to inform decision-making.
* Applying engineering principles to investigate fault trends in rolling stock and identifying root causes to prevent future issues.
* Creating technical procedures for operations teams as needed to ensure clear communication and understanding.
* Conducting engineering-based risk assessments for projects to ensure compliance with safety standards.
* Providing engineering support activities as required to maintain the fleet's optimal performance.
