Your Role:
We seek a Business Development Manager to grow customers in Southern suburbs and regional areas. This role involves developing relationships with existing customers and offering tailored solutions within our Decorative Paints portfolio.
You will be part of our dynamic Trade Sales Team, working in an inclusive culture that values diversity and fresh perspectives. Your focus will be on transactional sales and quick onboarding, identifying new opportunities, driving growth, and establishing strong relationships with trade painters and commercial contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Grow low wallet share customers by increasing their spending.
* Collaborate with Tele Sales to convert leads into long-term customers.
* Maintain relationships with trade painters and commercial painting contractors.
* Profile accounts and create business solutions to increase profitable sales of Decorative paints.
* Adhere to our Safety & Sustainability Policies while driving sales performance.
Skill Requirements:
* 5+ years' experience in business development sales within a trade-facing environment.
* Ability to work in challenging environments and navigate complex sales issues.
* Strong communication and influencing skills, adaptable to customer needs.
* Self-motivated with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
* Negotiation skills to identify and leverage commercial drivers for targeted selling.
