About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Science educator to join our faculty. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in medical science subjects, including anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, and pharmacology.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, laboratories, and practical sessions to support student learning.
* Develop and coordinate units, curriculum, and assessment strategies to enhance student outcomes.
* Pursue research and scholarly activity aligned with expertise and contribute to the school's research initiatives.
* Build relationships with industry partners to enhance clinical placements and student success.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A doctoral qualification or equivalent in Medical/Biomedical Sciences or a closely related field.
* Possession of, or willingness to obtain, a teaching qualification (e.g., Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education).
* Demonstrated experience in engaging students and supporting their learning through flexible, multi-modal teaching approaches.
* A strong research record, including publications, with the capacity to contribute to the school's research initiatives.
