About the Role
With a brand-new office and a 100m² industrial kitchen, our client is searching for a passionate and engaging Pastry Demo Chef to join their fast-growing Australian team.
This is not your typical pastry kitchen gig. You'll be demonstrating world-class chocolate and dessert products, presenting at events, supporting sales staff with on-site client demos, and even travelling internationally to get trained in culinary centers like Italy, Malaysia, Brazil and Hong Kong.
We're after someone who knows their way around chocolate, desserts, compounds and spreads (think pistachio, hazelnut, not filo dough or other pastry). If you're a Head Pastry Chef or a skilled Chocolatier ready for a fresh challenge, this could be your dream role.
What You'll Do
* Organise and lead product demonstrations for clients across Australia.
* Educate and entertain showcasing the wow-factor of premium dessert solutions.
* Participate in events and exhibitions to boost brand awareness.
* Collaborate with sales teams and provide hands-on support in customer demos.
* Create and test recipes using the latest global product releases.
* Maintain impeccable hygiene and presentation standards in the demo kitchen.
* Regularly travel (both locally and internationally) to learn, teach, and inspire.
What You'll Bring
* 5 years' experience in pastry or chocolate-focused environments.
* Excellent communication skills: you're engaging, humorous, and confident in front of a crowd.
* Creative flair: you can turn ingredients into eye-catching masterpieces.
* Willingness to travel frequently and embrace new cultures and culinary techniques.
* Previous experience with client-facing demos a big plus – or you're a head chef used to leading your team.
