About Us
Knox Private Hospital
is one of the largest private hospitals in Victoria, caring for over 1.2 million people across Melbourne's east and outer east.
This Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility with 334 beds, providing Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, 14 bed ICU, 17 bed CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories.
The largest and most established private hospital in the eastern region of Victoria, Knox Private Hospital, specialises in diagnostic, elective and emergency cardiovascular care, including open heart surgery, 24/7.
As An ANUM – Your Responsibilities Will Include
Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement
Maintain skilled and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high quality patient outcomes.
Provide clinical operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management by coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based.
Be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial and material resources
Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
Undertaking direct patient care, as required
Mentoring of staff
Selection Criteria
Current Registration with AHPRA
Working with Childrens check
Current or previous ANUM or clinical nurse specialist experience (desirable)
Experience in Scrub Scout/ Robotics specifically
Sound clinical knowledge
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
Positive role modelling behaviours
Excellent customer service focus, time management and prioritisation
