Closure Execution Specialist
We're looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Closure Execution Specialist. This site-based role at Mt Arthur Coal mine site, Muswellbrook will require you to be located residentially within the Hunter Valley.
* Support the study program assessing feasibility of alternative post-mining land uses by analyzing data and developing effective solutions.
* Coordinate consultants and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects and meet client expectations.
* Collaborate with multiple teams to implement agreed work programs, leveraging your communication and project management skills.
* Contribute to closure governance processes, adhering to BHP standards and legal obligations.
* Work closely with closure planning, mine planning, engineering operations to identify opportunities that deliver positive legacy outcomes from closure studies and projects.
* Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, through open communication and collaboration.
To support the long-term closure and ongoing rehabilitation of sites, interpret landform requirements for closure outcomes and evaluate alternative post-mining land uses.
Key Responsibilities:

What You'll Need:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, geology, or engineering.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in mining or environmental consulting.
* Demonstrated expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
