**Your New Role**
As an APS6 Evidence Based Researcher, you will be responsible for working with internal stakeholders to scope, develop and manage project plans, using your expertise in knowledge translation to support evidence based policy and practice, supporting research and evaluation activities conducted by the Branch, maintaining project related records using research software or platforms, and preparing and presenting internal reports and recommendations.
**What You'll Need to Succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- A degree or higher qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., psychology, public health, social sciences) or equivalent experience.
- Experience in conducting or supporting research and evaluation activities using appropriate methods and tools.
- Knowledge of the disability sector in Australia or internationally.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present clear and concise reports and summaries for different audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret and synthesise complex information from various sources.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks and priorities, and deliver outcomes within tight deadlines.
- Experience in leading or managing a small team or project.
