Maritime Project Engineer – Leidos Australia

Lead complex maritime projects from concept to completion in dynamic shipyard environments, collaborating with skilled trades and engineers to deliver innovative, high‑quality vessel solutions. * Oversee and coordinate engineering activities within shipyard projects to ensure timely and quality delivery.

* Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and maintain compliance with maritime standards and safety regulations.

* Liaise with shipyard teams, contractors, and stakeholders to align on project objectives and deliverables.

* Review and prepare technical documentation, drawings, and reports for project milestones.

* Conduct inspections and quality assurance checks to verify adherence to specifications and performance requirements.




What You'll Bring To Make An Impact

* Proven experience in shipyard or maritime project environments, with strong understanding of vessel systems and construction processes.

* Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.

* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

* Demonstrable influencing skills.



We require applicants to be Australian citizens holding an NV-1 or greater security clearance.
