Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled heavy equipment maintenance technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine repair and maintenance tasks for heavy machinery, including general maintenance, assisting operating personnel in carrying out planned and/or unplanned services and repairs during shift hours.
• Repair and maintain diesel, petrol, and gas-powered vehicles, diagnosing and replacing engine management and fuel injection components.
• Troubleshoot and replace engine management systems, hydraulic and air over hydraulic braking systems, and power-shift transmissions.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 Years full-time working in comparable position
• Cert III in Relevant Trade
• Experience working in a mining environment and on mining plant/equipment
• Proficient in hydraulics and auto electrical systems
• Skilled in root causes analysis
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. They will also be required to communicate effectively with other site personnel and provide support as needed.
