Overview
We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Hosting Technical Support Specialist. With over 120 team members working across 7 specialist departments, we're proud to be one of Australia's leading digital marketing companies.
Responsibilities
* Manage WordPress Hosting Operations: WordPress Updates, Plugin Updates, Theme Updates, Backups (Jetbackup) across a portfolio of WordPress websites
* Execute website migrations between servers (staging/production workflows), including DNS, SSL, databases, etc.
* Provide technical support to customers via phone, chat, and email with hosting-related queries
* Help explain technical issues to co-workers and answer their questions
* Troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues
* Diagnose and resolve server configuration issues
* Help customers with WordPress problems, including plugins, themes, and updates
* Assist customers with Domain name issues and DNS
* Ability to follow checklists in detail
* Stay up-to-date on the latest hosting technologies
* Maintain clear documentation, logs, and SOP adherence .
* Communicate daily with the Hosting Team Lead and Operations Manager.
Required Skills & Experience
* Experience in technical support or a related field
* Strong ability to work autonomously and adapt to a changing environment and priorities.
* Strong knowledge of WordPress, plugins, themes, and WHM / cPanel
* Strong knowledge of Google Workspace
* Strong knowledge of Domain Names and DNS
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to problem-solve and think critically
* A willingness to learn new things
* Positive, proactive, and able to work under pressure when responding to urgent hosting issues.
* Bonus points if you have used ClickUp previously
* Previous experience working with co-managed MSP or hosting provider models.
* Prior experience with managed WordPress hosting or "site care" services.
* Prior helpdesk experience L2+ desired
