About The Role
As part of the Arts, Heritage and Libraries Branch, you'll help enrich lives through cultural leadership, lifelong learning, and community engagement.
In this role, you'll be the friendly face of Sunshine Coast Libraries, providing exceptional customer service and supporting programs that foster literacy, digital skills, and community connection.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver outstanding customer experiences across library services
* Promote and deliver programs including story time, tech sessions, and events
* Assist with shelving, collection maintenance, and retail presentation
* Provide guidance on library systems, resources, and digital tools
About You
* You hold a Certificate III in Library and Information Services or equivalent, related qualifications or professional experience.
* You have a passion for delivering exceptional service and creating positive experiences for every visitor.
* You're confident with digital tools and eager to learn and teach new technologies.
* You thrive in a team environment and bring a can-do attitude to achieving shared goals.
* You're comfortable managing groups and delivering engaging programs for diverse audiences.
Pre-Employment Medical Required?
Essential to your success is physical agility and the level of fitness, strength and dexterity to carry out labouring and frequent heavy lifting & bending. As such, appointment to this position is subject to completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.
