Job Overview
The Virtual Community Mental Health Drug and Alcohol team is a virtual multi-disciplinary team that provides specialist mental health, drug and alcohol services across the district. The Peer Worker will be part of this team and will provide recovery-oriented and trauma-informed support via virtual services to consumers across Western NSW Local Health District.
This role draws upon the personal lived experience of mental illness/drug & alcohol recovery to provide authentic engagement and support for people accessing mental health care.
