**Role Responsibilities**:
- Enter collected data into Council's Asset Management System (AMS) and Geographical Information System (GIS).
- Input information on new subdivision and Council-created infrastructure assets into the AMS and GIS.
- Carry out data collection of physical assets using manual and electronic methods, including the use of GPS technology.
- Assist in the administration of the AMS.
- Prepare customised reports to support AMS users.
- Perform data manipulation, analysis, and routine system operations.
- Undertake minor GIS programming tasks associated with organisational activities.
- Document and maintain standards and procedures for data capture and transfer to the AMS and GIS.
- Liaise with other departments to coordinate asset data collection.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of procedures and asset management systems.

**Role Requirements**:
- Working knowledge of Asset Management System (AMS) and Asset Management Frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of asset management system configuration and operation.
- Experience in infrastructure design, maintenance, or planning.
- Technical training and experience in databases, geographical information systems, and computer-aided design.
- Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office products.
- National Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check required.
