About The Role
The Science Senior Technician plays a crucial part in laboratory preparation, equipment maintenance, chemical management, and delivering high-quality practical science experiences. Working closely with teachers and students, this role ensures all laboratory activities meet safety, regulatory, and curriculum requirements.
* Prepare, maintain, and organise laboratory equipment, materials, chemicals, and resources
* Prepare solutions, media, stains, and resources for practical classes
* Support practical classes, excursions, incursions, and competitions
* Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation, particularly in handling, storing, and disposing of hazardous substances
In addition to these responsibilities, the Science Senior Technician will:
