Role Overview
You will be employed full‑time or part‑time as an Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant. You will use your clinical expertise to guide and manage clients’ return to life after physical or psychological injury, influencing them to achieve the results they have identified through a whole‑person approach to rehabilitation.
As a Lead Consultant you will provide leadership, direction, and support in workplace rehabilitation and injury‑management services to a portfolio of customers. In addition to the duties performed as a WorkCare Consultant, you will deliver technical leadership and expertise to the team, support business growth through service delivery expertise, and may be assigned to complex cases or key clients.
Core Responsibilities
- Perform vocational assessments both face‑to‑face and virtually
- Support clients in achieving return‑to‑work goals
- Provide non‑comp or claim‑related psychological and psychosocial support to large corporate and government customers
- Manage complex psychological cases
- Use award‑winning psychosocial risk tools to achieve outstanding outcomes
Qualifications
- Hold a degree in Rehabilitation Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology (Provisional and Fully Registered)
- Full registration and membership with ASORC, APHRA, or AASW
- Pass a national criminal check before commencing employment
- Hold a current WWCC (Working with Children Check)
- Have full Australian working rights
- Hold a full driver’s licence, your own vehicle, and comprehensive insurance
