OverviewCustom Windows is seeking an experienced Installer (Residential and Builder Installer) and a Sawhand to join the Installation team.
We have two positions available.
We require staff who take pride in workmanship and attitude and will go above and beyond to ensure the job is finished and our customers are happy.With over 60 staff across our two large factories, we offer a stable and long term position for a person who is driven, accurate, willing to lead by example, learn, improve and grow through the business.ResponsibilitiesYour day to day:Your days will be regularly different, interesting, and challenging as you will be installing/cutting products for residential and commercial projects.You will be working in a team and leading by example, sharing your experience and working to keep to project timeframes.You will be spending time learning and refining your skillset, whilst progressing quickly and showing excellent attention to detail.You will be installing Aluminium Windows and Doors using the Carinya range of Aluminium products including the Alspec range of commercial window/door products.You will work closely with your co-workers, Project Manager and Business Director to ensure a high-quality manufactured finish, ensuring the projects are completed on time.You will be required to be able to work well with the team in a busy environment and be self motivated to work autonomously to get the daily workload completed on time.Strong ability to communicate with customers.QualificationsOver 3 years experience with installation of residential and commercial windows and doors.Experience with the Carinya/Alspec range of products is an advantage.Ability to carry and manoeuvre fully glazed or extrusions from vehicle to site - physically fit.Ability to problem solve and work through on-site situations, with the drive to get the job completed with a quality finish.Ability to learn quickly and have high attention to detail and pride yourself on your finished product.SawHand - Custom Windows: experience using power tools.Ability to read drawings.Can calculate numbers in your head to help maximise materials.Your role specificsSawHand - Custom WindowsExperience using power toolsAbility to read drawingsCan calculate numbers in your head, to help maximise materialsWhat we offerA friendly team environmentCompetitive salary in a very stable, long term business for the right person based on attitude, skill levels and willingness to Get the Job done Right.Opportunity to grow with the companyNo Micro Management - We respect and acknowledge our staff and their hard work.Staff and Family events – Where you can bring your family to an event organised by our company.How to applyCustom Windows is looking for a strong candidate willing to learn quickly and grow with the company.
