We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our successful and well-established English Department on a 3-term contract. This role involves teaching across stages in a department that values intellectual rigour, thoughtful pedagogy, and a genuine love of literature and language. At Shore, English plays a central role in the formation of articulate, reflective, and principled young men. Teachers are encouraged to uphold high academic standards while fostering curiosity, creativity, and respectful dialogue in the classroom. About You You will be a reflective and committed educator who: Holds NESA-approved teaching qualifications and current accreditation Has experience teaching English at Stage 4 and Stage 5 Demonstrates strong knowledge of curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment in English Communicates effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Is willing to contribute to the co-curricular and broader life of the school Supports and upholds the Christian ethos of Shore Our Commitment to you: At Shore, we are committed to supporting the wellbeing and growth of our staff.
