About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Health and Physical Education Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive learning community.
This 0.74FTE contract position for Term 2 - 4 2026, offers the opportunity to teach Health and Physical Education across years 5 to 10, inspiring students to develop physical competence, confidence, teamwork, resilience, and a lifelong commitment to health and wellbeing.
The successful applicant will design and deliver engaging programs across a range of physical activities, sports, and health education topics. They will guide students in developing movement skills, tactical understanding, personal and social capabilities, and knowledge of health and wellbeing, fostering positive attitudes towards physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
We are looking for an educator who brings energy, expertise, and innovation to the classroom and sporting environment, someone who can challenge and motivate students while nurturing the skills and mindset they need to thrive physically, socially, and emotionally.

About You
* Hold appropriate academic qualifications and relevant experience, along with a current South Australian Teaching Registration Certificate with the Teacher’s Registration Board SA
* Experience teaching Health and Physical Education across upper primary and middle years is highly desirable
* Demonstrate a student-centred approach, fostering confidence, skill development, and a lifelong appreciation for physical activity and wellbeing
* Proven capacity to work respectfully, collaboratively, and professionally within a team environment
* Passionate about creating dynamic, engaging, and inclusive Health and Physical Education experiences for young people
