We are a small, family-run law firm that operates from both Sydney and Wollongong. Our primary practice areas are conveyancing and wills & estate law.
We are looking for a Solicitor or Conveyancer with experience in NSW residential conveyancing to join our team on a part time basis. We are a growing firm so we are ideally looking for someone who would be happy with a part time role initially but is also open to their role and hours expanding as the business grows.
Responsibilities
* Run conveyancing matters confidently from start to finish
* Draft and review contracts for sale
* Liaise with clients, agents, brokers, lenders and other solicitors
* Manage matters efficiently with the support of software including Smokeball and PEXA
* Draft Wills, Power of Attorney and Enduring Guardian documents (desirable)
* Maintain your own client files
* We all pitch in and help each other – this means that you may occasionally need to answer phones or carry out other general admin tasks

Required experience
* Minimum 2+ years of NSW residential conveyancing experience is essential
* 2+ years estate planning experience is preferred (but not essential)
* Ability to manage a conveyancing file from start to finish with minimal supervisionExperience using PEXA and Smokeball
* Comfortable working in a small team and pitching in however may be needed each day. We all work together to get the work done and ensure our clients are looked after. This means our roles are very varied - one day you may be drafting wills and reviewing contracts and the next you may be answering phones, updating your Smokeball files and responding to new enquiries.
