Join a renowned organization in Australia's thriving agriculture and transport sector as we seek a seasoned Senior HR Generalist. This key role reports to the Chief Financial Officer, supporting business growth by developing and implementing best practices in human resources management. Based in Liverpool, this 5-day onsite position offers flexibility when needed.
* Multisite travel across NSW and Australia is required, so you'll need a driver's license for frequent site visits.
* You will build and implement effective HR solutions, including policies and processes, to drive operational and strategic success.
* Lead, support, and coach a team of 3-4 direct reports, providing guidance on performance management, compensation planning, bonus schemes, succession planning, and more.
* You will oversee all aspects of HR functions, from recruitment and onboarding to employee exit procedures, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal workforce utilization.
* Develop and manage learning and development programs to enhance leadership capabilities and organizational effectiveness.
To succeed in this position, you must be:
* A true HR generalist with a minimum of 8 years' experience, preferably including 2-3 years in management or leadership roles.
* Well-versed in employment law, ER, and IR, with expertise in industrial awards and enterprise agreements.
* Familiar with the blue-collar and unionized sectors, ideally having worked in industries like FMCG, manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics.
* Able to communicate effectively at all levels and adapt quickly to changing situations.
